MY WRITING & WHAT INSPIRES ME... 

I am often asked what inspired me to write my debut novel and find readers are intrigued by my journey from accountant to author. Since publication I have also received dozens of messages from readers sharing their own experiences and this has meant the world to me. Many have explained how deeply the story resonated with them; how it made them reminisce about the 1976 heatwave, carefree teenage holidays and previously forgotten memories. It is wonderful to know the impact it has had.
