I have loved to read and write since childhood and, after a long and very enjoyable career as an accountant working in finance and HR, redundancy was the perfect opportunity to follow my dream of becoming an author. I grew up in the West Country - where my novels are set - and now live in Monmouthshire with my husband Andy and our two lassie collies.

The books I enjoy most have believable characters in familiar locations and everyday situations. A narrative anyone can relate to, but where things aren't always quite what they seem. Suspenseful books that keep me intrigued, wanting to read just one more chapter and keep me guessing until the very end - ideally with a massive plot twist or two along the way! This is also what I aim to achieve in my own writing.

Both my novels are ideal for a book club or reading group. Psychological suspense combined with a murder mystery, they are easy to read yet thought provoking with a moral dilemma at their core. Readers have said they make them ponder for a long time after they have finished, not only about the characters but what they would do if they ever found themselves in the same situation.

I loved every second while writing both books; hours spent in my writing shed developing convincing characters and planning the twists and turns of the plots. Also researching (and reliving!) the music, fashions and food of the 70's (book one) and the 80's for book two. I sincerely hope you enjoy reading them just as much as I did creating them and I look forward to sharing more news very soon.
