I have loved to read and write since childhood and, after a career in finance and HR, gave up work in 2018 to have time to focus on my creative writing. I grew up in the West Country - where both my debut novel and book two are set - and now live in Monmouthshire with my husband Andy and our two lassie collies.

The books I enjoy most have real-life characters in familiar locations and everyday situations. A narrative anyone can relate to, but where things aren't always what they seem. Books that keep me intrigued, wanting to read just one more chapter and keep me guessing until the very end. This is also what I aim to achieve in my own writing.

My debut novel is a psychological suspense combined with a murder mystery. It is easy to read yet thought provoking. Readers have said it makes them ponder for a long time after they have finished, about the characters and what they would do if they were ever in the same situation. Ideal for a book club or reading group it includes some suggested discussion points (hopefully with no spoilers!) if you should need them.

I loved every single second when writing my book; hours spent in my writing shed developing believable characters and planning the twists and turns of the plot. Also researching (and reliving!) the music, fashions and food of 1976 and 2010. I sincerely hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did creating it and I look forward to sharing more details about book number two very soon.
